There are two things I can always say about Hennessy.
The first is, Hennessy is my shiet! Its always my liquor of choice.
The second is that Hennessy always has their branding on point. Some people say that Henny is an old man's drink. Only old men drink cognac. But take a look at the brand and its campaigns to gain and maintain the younger demographics. With collaborations with Crooks & Castles, Supreme, KAWS and graffiti legend, Futura, how could Hennessy not be the most most bad ass cognac of our time and generation? But they're not just about being street. They also have several limited edition collector bottles and several products which are branded differently to cater to the different lifestyles and age groups. Diversity baby.
You've got to represent your people in order for them to represent you back.
But Henny already knew that.
Anyhow, the fellas of 1LOVETO and Charton Hobbs threw a lil shindig to celebrate the release of the Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition bottle by Futura on the rooftop of the Drake Hotel. Good people, tasty hor d'ouvres, complimentary Henny drinks (good call on the freshly pressed apple juice as mixer by the way), chill music and live painting from the homie, Skam and of course Futura. Can't be mad at that.
Shout outs to Fresh and the crew and everyone I saw. I know I retired from photography and shooting events, but Im tired of only seeing my face on my blog and I also feel its my duty to show y'all some of the beauty and fun that goes on in the city.
