Fresh has been telling me to go to Spoon & Fork for the last couple days now.

“Yo! This place is over the top! They got good food, aint too pricy and the decor is crazy. Like over the top! You’ll love it! Im a restaurant connoisseur! I know. Over the top!”

In case I didnt make it clear enough, one of Fresh’s fave lines is “over the top”. lol.

Anyhow, after work, we all headed out to Etobicoke for some dinner. The Queensway and Kipling Ave to be exact.

At first I was cheesed that they didnt have a lit sign that was visible while I was driving on the The Queensway. But I eventually found it.

The website showed it as a pretty normal and simple looking restaurant with white table cloths and yellowy wood chair and ish. So if thats what the pictures on the site looked like, than that was what I was expecting.

I come in and its all dim lighting, black walls and stainless steel accents. Theres a main floor and a raised area that gives it a sort of balcony look. It’s a really cool place but I didnt get a chance to really scope the place yet.

I would have also taken more pictures but I came an hour and a half late and these cows were already full by the time I arrived. lol.

Its a Vietnamese/ Thai and Japanese buffet. But its not the regular buffet style where you gotta get up and go stand in line and scoop food onto your plate. You’re handed a menu and you just order all your items from there and they bring you a fresh order. You might have to wait a few minutes but I prefer it this way anyhow.

Would I suggest it?

HYFR! (Hell Yea, F*ckin Right)

Its a good spot for a date too.

And shout outs to Dan, Fresh, Rahmuhl and of course, the man of the day, Jigga. Happy Birthday homie!
