Its 3am.
Ive been spending the last couple hours just sifting through photography and artwork;Â Trying to find inspiration and cool shit that might spark ideas and concepts for new future projects.
I came up with a couple really cool ideas that Im going to start working on very soon but I thought of something else that y’all might really like (or not).
For the longest time Ive been trying to figure out a way to do something that would be really cool that would involve all the people that have been supporting me, whether its been the last 3 weeks or the last 3 years.
What I want to do is to have you guys be a part of a new collection I want to build for an exhibit.
What I would like to do is have you guys comment, email, tweet or fb me some concepts or ideas that you would like me to compose and shoot.
Ill choose my favorite 10-15 suggestions and shoot it. I would display the artwork along with your write up and your name. And of course, I will hope that you show you up so I can shake your hand and show you what we’ve created together. I will also have a copy of the photo for you as well. Id sign it, but Im sure that would devalue the picture. lol.
So this wouldnt be my collection. It wouldnt be my exhibit. I wouldnt be my show.
It would be ours.
I wanted to celebrate all the successes that Ive been able to experience thus far with you guys. Every step I’ve taken is a step you’ve helped me pave.
For once, Id like to do something where its all about me and my readers and my supporters. Just you guys and me.
You’ve gotten to know me for the past little while, so Im hoping you guys all show up so I can finally get to know you.
I want this to be an collective project and I want you all to feel that this is equally your project as it is mine. Your input is more than welcome.
Im hoping you guys dig the idea and that you’re down for the cause.

I’m thinking something that reveals you a bit more than your blog to your supporters and fans out there. How about a “Day-in-the-life” of you as a photo essay of some sort. Something that illustrates and shows how a typical day of Photo Will unfolds.
I’m stumped Will. I need to see everyone else’s ideas to develop one.

omgosh there are sooo many different things i’d love to see you do as far as photography goes…i’d like to see a really simple shoot which somehow showcases the beauty of two people falling in love in toronto….i’d love to see you do a shoot with the homeless….something not exploitative at all but just showcasing their struggles and giving us a glimpse into the world as they see it…i’m also really fascinated by all the different neighbourhoods in t.o because i just moved here so an ode to them and their individual rhythm and culture would be really cool too
ohhhh and also a shoot dedicated to all the beautiful tattooed women of this city would be reallly dope…something that really shows how diverse we are but is also sexy in its own way
these are probably wayyyyyy to general but just some thoughts…i really hope they help and i’m SO excited for this!!!

I brainstormed a couple of ideas but I realized that they took away a significant amount of creativity from what you could shoot. After some thought, this phrase came to mind:
“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”
I’d like to see your take on that phrase in regards to the city of Toronto. 4 different pictures, 4 different stories.

love the way u shoot and the passion you invest in everything you do. would like to see something more controversial … What’s ur thoughts on nude photography? And I can hook you up with my girl who already does this type of modeling in the industry. if you decide to choose this idea an happen to b hard up for a model to pose.

I’ll think of as many ideas as i can. So far I have an idea to show maybe some actual hand painted photos of the people who kept you going and supported you through everything. The people who inspired you and the people you inspire. Saying as in having hand-painted murals. And maybe put some of there most helpful advice, some of there most loved quotes, and some of the precious words giving to cheer up, to help, to inspire, to ….(whatever else words) you and keep your happiness and faith. Hey Will, I’d love to see you’re interpretation of one of Toronto’s Hood’s. It seems like overtime the media has placed a lot of negative emphasis on what these areas offer to the city. But on the other hand there are plenty of positive movements taking place within the city –>Even if it were a photo shoot of young kids who live in the hood, but are out doing something better for themselves; succeeding and not residing to the stereotype that has already been painted by the media. Just a suggestion but this idea is brilliant. I may return and drop another suggestion. 1 love and peace
Maybe you can do a story about why someone got a specific tattoo or what does a certain tattoo mean to someone. Like, I think Pharrell got an angel on his neck after a girl broke his heart so the angel is supposed to protect him, or something like that.

Don’t know if you are still taking ideas but I would love to see a shoot in the subway. Subway tracks. There’s something so intruging that I personally find about this. Maybe tattoo women in the subway or something like that. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!! JUST SAT HERE (at work) reading your blog, I love all the pictures! Much love and happiness.
