The Counter is one of the more popular late night spots to eat, especially after the club. Not so much for the food, because its just decent. Its more for the atmosphere and the cool factor. Its definitely an upscale diner that reminds me of NYC, but its whatever.

Lets just say if you’re on a schedule or if you’re big on customer service…you’re in the wrong place. Thats pretty much why I dont really go there. I had a pretty bad experience when I was there last spring and was hoping that this time would be a bit different. Im a sucker for diners with a chic look. But they failed me again. Bah.

Well I also dont go there cuz the food on that menu is fatty as hell and I actually feel more guilty eating there than Mickeys. I made myself get a salad but you cant be in fat boy headquarters and just eat a salad. Tisk. And as a word warning, Im telling you, that truffle oil macaroni and cheese is dangerous. Like I have heart failures after eating 3 fork-stabbings. lol. I dont know anyone can finish that thing. lol.

So am I recommending it…? No. Unless its super late and you want a cool place to sit and eat at and dont mind what you eat anymore by that point. lol.
