So my GF and my BFF came to visit me at work yesterday just before I got off, which I loved.
The two had spent the entire afternoon together shopping and eating in Yorkville which I loved even more.
We were supposed to go eat after I finished work but instead Julie and I decided to go into PJ’s Pet Shop and buy a fighter fish. I would much rather a blue nose pitbull but my mom would probably have a heart attack. lol. So we decided on a smaller, more containable pet.
I wanted to name the fish, “My Boy Blue” but she wasnt having it. lol. Then I said Sonic the Hedgehog-fish…she said…”We’ll never have kids if you’re naming them.” lmfao
So then we decided to call him Jacques…cuz its my favorite French name…well not really, but I sure love saying it. lol
Anyhow, Julie had to put together the whole lil fish bowl, pebbles, water, solution and fish. Im only here for the watching. lol. She says Im gonna have to change the water, but I have a fear of killing small animals because Im afraid to apply too much pressure and kill em. lol.
She’s insisting I get over my fear and do it, but Id probably pass out if I had to hold a slimey fish in my hand. lol
Give me a dog, Im good…Give me a fish, a hamster, a bird and Ill probably faint.

She’s away at the cottage this weekend with her friends. I was supposed to go too but Im stuck working all weekend so I had to pass it up.
I guess its just me and Jacques this weekend. lol
Keep your fingers crossed and hope that I dont screw this up. lol
I use to have a fighter fish and messed up and put it with my other fish. Lets just say he didn’t play fair and killed all of my fish and then he died like a few days later. After that, I just stuck with cats and nothing more.
